This short series is showing the surrounding of the place i grew up. Among the southern german landscapes, the mountain range called “swabian alb“ is considered as a region of low population density. The geographical position with heights reaching over 1000m above sea level is contributing to the bitter and rough character of this area. The landscape is primarily dominated by forest and meadows, while villages often are scattered far apart from each other. Approached with a distant viewpoint, the main focus is pointed towards the local habitants and the environment they live in.
